Actually,   INTERIOR MONTAGE, INC. ,  d.b.a., or as the sign above the door reads DRAPERY MONTAGE, or as mostly referred to  "awhh yeahh...,  the drapery store", this town's  only shop -'til-you-drop destination, Houston's Drapery Store.

We call it, a one of kind, all under one roof, everything you need for your windows store. That would be it in a nutshell, but should we really get serious in introducing ourselves --  catering to the imagination with unexpected solutions --  would be just a start in describing it.  Inspiration.  Design.  Custom Fitted since 1984, to be more accurate. Here are a few shots of our over 3,500  square feet, one of a kind showroom and workroom, all under one roof:

This is the entryway. The  sewing machines are for display only and have much sentimental value as one of them is a close replica of the one my grandmother taught me how to sew on. Around it, display, after display to inspire in awe.

Our escape to the Mediterranean on days when we're overloaded with work. Imaginations of sipping a tall refreshment in the mid day breeze. Next is adding a butler....., wouldn't it be nice, but the pile in the workroom, awhhhh...

Ready-Made-Draperies galore, starting from $49 dollars a width. Pick your color, standard size for lengths up to 10 feet high, lined, unlined, sheers, Silks, man made fibers - you name it, we have it. And if don't, choose from over 130 textures and colors, and it'll be done in a few days. Did I mention we have a workroom...!!

Speaking of which, these would be the giant tables to help in making some of those two story high draperies. They are built to have rollers, so we can push them together for a larger work area. Don't forget to check out on our website heights at 19 feet we have applied treatments on.

The library of textures, it takes us on a daily journey in finding the right color and texture for all our custom work.  We stock the latest and the greatest with prices ranging from $5 dollars a yard, to $150 per yard

Loaded with books, catalogs and selections, this area is our consultation and design desk specifically built with windows to the South allowing natural light for checking the accuracy of colors.

But wait, you haven't seen nothing yet, as this is only a sampler of Houston's own drapery store. There's so much more to explore in the Media Room alone, where some 600 pictures of our work roll up on a 9 feet wide x 6 feet screen.
